Uresta leaves leaks and outdated solutions behind.

Look, there are lots of moments where we just have to say, “it is what it is.” But when it comes to bladder control, women shouldn’t have to accept leaks and pee-soaked pads as a part of life. That’s why Uresta is determined to bring you a safe and effective way to manage leaks before they happen, not after.

How’d it all start?

Uresta was first developed by world-renowned, Canadian urogynecologist and Dalhousie University Professor Dr. Scott A. Farrell. He recognized that the options for dealing with leaks were outdated, not to mention uncomfortable, and wanted to find a non-invasive, at-home solution.

Spoiler alert: Dr. Farrell found it. And he stuck around as the Chief Medical officer of Uresta and still sits on our Board of Directors today.

Behind every great leak solution are great women.

After Uresta was developed, it was acquired by a group of accomplished female entrepreneurs in 2014 to create the Canadian-based, women-led company Uresta is today. This group, headed by our former CEO (and current board member), Carol Chapman, immediately made plans to bring this life-changing product to the world. Today, our bright and determined CEO, Lauren Barker, leads Uresta. And she’s in good company with our shareholder group, comprised of the chair of a top Canadian bank, a CEO of a renewable energy company, the lead partner for a global consulting firm, a division head of a global pharmaceutical company, and many other amazing and powerful women.

FYI, we’re FDA cleared.

Uresta is cleared by the FDA and Health Canada. We’re also currently covered by most major insurance providers in Canada (Blue Cross Canada, Sunlife, Manulife, etc.). And in the US, Uresta is eligible for both Health Spending Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). Plus, Uresta has completed three clinical studies that validate the product’s safety and efficacy.

We’re people approved, too.

In 2016, we won Chatelaine’s 2016 Product of the Year Canada award in the adult care incontinence category. And in 2018, Today’s Parent reviewed Uresta and awarded it the Today’s Parent Approved Seal for quality, ease of use, and value.

Uresta has already safely and successfully helped thousands of women around the world, and every day more people are making pee leaks a thing of the past.
